Her perfect lips with inimitable color were due to the mixing of different reds with blue undertones, applied to compensate for the cinematic shots in technicolor that would have given her an orange tone.

Her first step was to create a clear outline in order to enlarge the lines especially on the upper lip. Her corners had to all be rounded and darkened to recreate voluptuous lips. She finally she applied either lip gloss or vaseline.
